02  ·  The studio

One studio holds
the project end to end.

Studio Saint-Pierre works from Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, a short drive from Geneva. Design and engineering stay with the studio. Production runs through the group's manufacturing network.

03  ·  The range

A material translation studio.

Every route runs through Specifio,
the studio's project layer.

04  ·  Art at architectural scale

From a scan, or an open file, to an architectural surface.

We reproduce a work from a scan of a painting or from a public open file, then engineer it as a surface at architectural scale.

Applications
05  ·  From artwork to material system

The image is only the starting point.

Every project begins with a source: an original artwork, a high-resolution scan, an open-access museum file or an authorised digital master.

We then translate that source for the architecture: scale, crop, colour, substrate, relief, finish, viewing distance and installation.

Before production, the result is proofed on the actual surface.

Route 01

Classic works

Public-domain works and authorised museum files can be translated into architectural surfaces at project scale.

The source file, reproduction status and project jurisdiction are checked before production.

Route 02

Living artists

An artist’s original work can be translated into project-specific architectural surfaces with the artist involved in approval.

Reproduction rights are established before production, and material proofs are approved before the work is placed.

RIGHTS FIRST.
Public-domain status or reproduction authorisation is verified before a project enters production.

08  ·  Distributed manufacturing

Produced close to the project, wherever the project is.

Every surface is designed and engineered in Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny. Production runs through LookGroup facilities in France, the United States, Canada, Qatar and the Philippines.
